This session provides an overview of Google Cloud’s security model, and covers the following topics:

  • Google’s impact/influence in government and commercial sectors in helping to prevent cyber threats

The session also reviews a case study on New York City Cyber Command. NYC Cyber Command is a centralized organization created by Executive Order to lead the City’s cyber defense efforts and works across more than 100 agencies and offices to prevent, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats. As a model for collaboration, NYC Cyber Command is committed to protecting NYC infrastructure and critical systems from malicious attacks through the latest technologies, public-private partnerships, and regular training for City employees.
